Digital Afterlife Charter

Generative AI can technically 'resurrect' the deceased at any time — as talking avatars, as chatbots, as voices that respond. We consider this wrong. This charter is our promise to remain worthy of a family platform.

    No artificial resurrection.

    Kinverse never generates voice, video, or text on behalf of a deceased person. No 'Hi Grandma' chats. No AI avatars at funerals. Never.

    Authentic memory, not imitation.

    We preserve real recordings, real texts, real images. We restore damaged originals (audio, image, handwriting) — but we never invent.

  3. 03

    Clear labeling of any AI processing.

    If AI denoises a photo or transcribes audio, it's labeled visibly. Original and processed version remain separately accessible.

  4. 04

    No commercial use of deceased voices or faces.

    Kinverse never sells, licenses, or trains models on data of deceased people. Not even anonymized for research.

  5. 05

    Dignity-first storage.

    Profiles of deceased people are frozen once death is confirmed. Changes only by clearly authorized family members, documented and traceable.
